Revolution doesn't protect from ticks unfortunately. You will need another product like Frontline Plus for ticks. For a full spectrum protection we highly recommend Nexgard Spectra instead of purchasing two seperate products.

If stronghold and revolution are the same, why doesn't stronghold have the "controls American dog tick infestations" listed?
Answer:
Stronghold is the European version of Revolution. Because american dog ticks live only eastern part of North America, listing this is not only irrelevant, also it would be confusing too for European customers.
